Im Rahmen der Wochen gegen Rassismus planen wir eine Veranstaltung zum Thema Gewalt und Diskriminierung im Bereich der Polizei mit rassistischem Hintergrund.
Die Veranstaltung findet am 22.03.22 von 18 bis 20 Uhr im Jubez Karlsruhe (Kronenplatz 1) statt.
Die Idee ist entstanden, weil wir aktuell mehrere Beratungsfälle im Bereich der Polizei mit rassistischem Hintergrund in Karlsruhe haben. Es war auch der Wunsch unserer Ratsuchenden, zu dem Thema zu sensibilisieren.
Die Info-Veranstaltung ist für Betroffene und Zeug*innen. Es wird um Fragen gehen, wie: Welche Rechte habe ich? Wie verhalte ich mich während und nach einer Polizeikontrolle, sodass ich meine Rechte schützen kann? Wann und wie dürfen Polizeihunde eingesetzt werden? An wen wende ich mich nach einem Vorfall von Racial Profiling? Wie kann ich als Zeug*in Betroffene unterstützen?
Wir freuen uns sehr, dass der Rechtsanwalt Hans Hanagarth und der Aktivist Happy von United Refugees Rights Movement Karlsruhe jeweils einen Input zu dem Thema geben werden. Danach wollen wir uns gemeinsam über das Thema austauschen und vernetzen.
Die Veranstaltung ist auf Deutsch, Englisch und in Gebärdensprache. Bitte schreibe eine Mail an l.juergens@stja, wenn du eine Übersetzung in eine weitere Sprache möchtest.
Es wird ein Awareness-Team geben. Du kannst dich an das Awareness-Team wenden, wenn du während der Veranstaltung etwas Diskriminierendes oder Grenzüberschreitendes erlebst oder eine Pause brauchst.

Irkçılık haftası (Wochen gegen Rassismus) dolayısıyla Polis teşkilatında ırkçılık nedeniyle ortaya çıkan şiddet ve ayrımcılık hakkında bir program hazırladık.
Bu program 22.03.2023 saat 18’den 20’ye kadar „Jubez“ Karlsruhe’de (Kronenplatz 1) gerçekleşecektir. 
Karlsruhe’deki danışmanlığımızda yoğun Polis şiddetine maruz kalmış vakalarımız olduğu için bu programı hazırlamaya karar verdik ve danışmanlarımız bu konuda farkındalık yaratmamız için bize ricada bulundular.
Program ırkçılık şiddetine ve tanıkları için hazırlanmıştır. Hakkım ne? Haklarımı koruyabilmek için polis kontrolünde ve sonrasında nasıl davranmalıyım? Polis köpekleri ne zaman ve nasıl kullanılabilir? „Racial profilinig“ olaylarından sonra kiminle iletişime gecmeliyim? Tanık olarak etkilenenleri nasıl destekleyebilirim? gibi sorular konuşulacaktır.
Avukat Hans Hanagarth ve Aktivist Happy United Refugee Rights Movement Karlsruhe konuyla ilgili katkı sağlayacağı için çok memnuniyet duyuyoruz. Sonrasında konu hakkında fikir alışverişinde bulunmak ve sizinle irtibata geçmek istiyoruz.

Dans le cadre des semaines contre le racisme, nous prévoyons une manifestation sur le thème de la violence et de la discrimination dans le domaine de la police sur fond de racisme.
L’événement aura lieu le 22.03.22 de 18 à 20 heures au Jubez Karlsruhe (Kronenplatz 1).
L’idée est née du fait que nous avons actuellement plusieurs cas de consultation dans le milieu de la police avec un contexte raciste à Karlsruhe.
L’événement s’adresse aux personnes concernées et aux témoins. Il abordera des questions telles que : Quels sont mes droits ? Comment dois-je me comporter pendant et après un contrôle de police afin de protéger mes droits ? Quand et comment les chiens policiers peuvent-ils être utilisés ? À qui dois-je m’adresser après un incident de profilage racial ? Comment puis-je soutenir les personnes affectées en tant que témoin ?
Nous sommes très heureux que l’avocat Hans Hanagarth et l’activiste Happy de United Refugees Rights Movement Karlsruhe donnent chacun un input sur le sujet. Ensuite, nous échangerons ensemble sur le sujet et créerons un réseau.

Il y aura une équipe de sensibilisation. Tu peux t’adresser à l’équipe de sensibilisation si tu vis quelque chose de discriminatoire ou qui dépasse les frontières pendant l’événement ou si tu as besoin d’une pause.

As part of the Weeks against Racism, we are planning an event on the topic of violence and discrimination in the area of police with a racist background.
The event will take place on 22.03.22 from 6pm to 8pm at the Jubez Karlsruhe (Kronenplatz 1).
The idea came as a result of the fact that we currently have several cases of counselling in the area of police with a racist background in Karlsruhe. It was also the wish of those seeking advice to raise awareness on the issue.
The information event is for those affected and witnesses. It will deal with questions like: What rights do I have? How do I behave during and after a police control so that I can protect my rights? When and how can police dogs be used? Who do I contact after an incident of racial profiling? How can I support those affected as a witness?
We are very pleased that the lawyer Hans Hanagarth and the activist Happy from United Refugees Rights Movement Karlsruhe will each give an input on the topic. Afterwards, we want to exchange ideas and network together on the topic.
